Keyhole Drainage Of An Abdominal Or Ovarian Cyst

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 49322

Keyhole surgery in which a fluid-filled cyst or cavity inside the abdomen or pelvis — commonly an ovarian cyst — is drained. A camera goes in through a small incision near the navel, and a needle or fine tube is used to empty the cyst; one cyst or several may be dealt with in the same session. It is done under general anesthetic, usually as a day case.
