Bile Drainage From Liver to Intestine With U-Tube

An operation that creates a new route for bile to drain from the ducts inside the liver into the intestine, held open by a tube shaped like a U. Both ends of the tube are brought out through the skin, so it can be flushed or exchanged later without further surgery. It is used when the normal bile ducts are blocked, scarred, or damaged.
