Connecting the Bile Ducts to the Intestine

Vermont rates for HCPCS 47760

Joins the bile ducts outside the liver to the intestine so bile can drain when its normal route is blocked or damaged. The duct is sewn to a loop of bowel, bypassing the blocked or injured section. It relieves jaundice and stops bile backing up into the liver.
