Keyhole Gallbladder Removal With Duct X-Ray

Removal of the gallbladder through several small cuts in the abdomen using a camera and long instruments, together with an X-ray study of the bile ducts taken during the same operation. Dye is put into the duct system and pictures are taken to map the anatomy and check whether any stones have moved into the main bile duct. Most people go home the same day or the next.
