Repair Of A Cloacal Anomaly

Maryland rates for HCPCS 46744

Reconstructive surgery for a child born with a cloacal anomaly, in which the bowel, the vagina and the urinary channel all drain through a single opening. It is a major operation of early childhood, usually done after a temporary opening on the abdomen has been made to divert stool while healing.
