Internal Hemorrhoid Treatment With Rubber Band

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 46221

This treatment shrinks an internal hemorrhoid by placing a small, tight rubber band around its base, cutting off its blood supply so that it shrinks and eventually falls off on its own. It's a common, relatively quick in-office treatment that doesn't require cutting or stitches. More than one hemorrhoid can sometimes be treated in the same session, depending on the situation.
