Drainage Of Deep Anal Abscess With Fistula Care

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 46060

Opens and drains a deep collection of pus beside or above the anus and, at the same time, deals with the fistula — the small tunnel that has formed between the bowel and the skin. The surgeon lays the tunnel open or removes it, and may thread a soft loop, called a seton, through it to keep it draining while it settles. It is done under anesthesia.
