Vermont rates for HCPCS 44380

An examination of the last part of the small intestine through a stoma — an opening in the abdominal wall where the bowel has been brought to the surface. A flexible lighted tube is passed through the stoma so the doctor can inspect the lining for inflammation, bleeding or narrowing. Taking tissue samples or treating what is found is charged separately.
