Removal Of Donor Intestine For Transplant

Surgery to remove intestine from a donor so that it can be transplanted into a recipient. The bowel is flushed and cooled with preservation fluid as it is taken, which protects it during transport and until it is implanted. The transplant into the recipient is a separate operation.
