Feeding Tube Placed Into The Small Bowel In Surgery

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 44015

Places a tube or fine catheter directly into the jejunum, part of the small intestine, during an abdominal operation, so liquid feed can be given straight into the bowel afterwards. It allows a person to be fed even when the stomach cannot be used. It is done as part of the operation already under way and billed in addition to it.
