Keyhole Placement Of A Stomach Feeding Tube

North Dakota rates for HCPCS 43653

Places a feeding tube directly into the stomach through the abdominal wall, using keyhole surgery. A camera and instruments go in through small incisions, the stomach is brought up against the abdominal wall and stitched there, and the tube is passed into it so liquid feed and medicines can be given. It is chosen when a tube cannot be placed by simpler routes.
