Keyhole surgery to repair a hernia at the diaphragm where part of the stomach has slid or rolled up into the chest. The stomach is brought back down into the abdomen and the gap in the diaphragm is closed, and the top of the stomach may be wrapped around the lower food pipe to stop acid washing back up. It is done for reflux, chest discomfort or difficulty swallowing caused by the hernia.
