Sampling Of The Upper Throat To Find A Hidden Cancer

Takes tissue samples from the area behind the nose, at the top of the throat, when no visible lesion can be seen. Several samples are taken systematically across the area to search for a cancer whose starting point has not been found. It is done when cancer has appeared elsewhere, such as in a neck lymph node, and the source is unknown.
