Deepening the Front Gum Groove of the Mouth

Vermont rates for HCPCS 40840

Deepens the groove between the lip and the gum ridge at the front of the mouth by repositioning the soft tissue and letting it heal at a lower level. When that groove is shallow there is too little ridge for a denture to grip, so it lifts and slips. Creating more height gives the denture a stable seat.
