Removing the Lymph Nodes in the Groin

Wyoming rates for HCPCS 38760

Removes the group of lymph nodes lying just beneath the skin in the groin, including the deepest node of that group. It is done to find out whether a cancer of the skin, vulva, penis, or lower limb has spread into them, or to clear nodes already known to contain cancer. Everything removed is examined under a microscope.
