A thin catheter is threaded through the blood vessels into the artery at the base of the neck on one side, and contrast dye is injected so the vertebral artery running up to the back of the brain can be filmed on X-ray. Taking and reading those pictures is part of this service, not something provided on top of it. Views of the arch of vessels at the top of the chest are included when they are taken.
