Repair Of A Bypass Graft Join At The Groin

Vermont rates for HCPCS 35883

Reopens and repairs the connection between an artificial bypass graft and the artery in the groin where it has narrowed or is failing. The join is opened and widened with a patch so blood flows through freely again, without replacing the whole bypass. It is done to save a graft that is at risk of clotting off.
