Leg Bypass Graft Repair With Vein Segment

Open surgery to fix a failing bypass graft in the leg before it blocks off completely. The narrowed or damaged part of the graft is cut out and replaced with a length of the patient's own vein, sewn in at both ends to restore smooth blood flow. Removing a blood clot is not part of this repair.
