Repeat Operation On A Leg Artery Or Bypass

Vermont rates for HCPCS 35700

Covers the extra work involved in operating again on a leg bypass or artery more than a month after the original operation, anywhere from the thigh and knee down to the arteries below the knee and in the lower leg. Scar tissue from the earlier surgery has to be dissected away before the vessels can be reached, which adds considerable time and difficulty. It is billed in addition to the repair or bypass actually performed.
