Groin-to-Groin Artery Bypass With a Graft

Vermont rates for HCPCS 35661

A man-made tube graft is tunneled under the skin across the lower abdomen, joining the artery in one groin to the artery in the other. Blood from the healthy side is then carried across to supply the leg whose own inflow is blocked higher up. A synthetic graft is used rather than one of the patient's own veins.
