Synthetic Graft From The Aorta To A Neck Artery

Vermont rates for HCPCS 35626

Routes blood from the aorta in the chest to one of the large branches running up toward the arm, neck, and head, using a man-made tube as the new channel. It is used when the origin of one of those branches is blocked or narrowed, leaving the arm or the brain short of blood. The chest is opened to reach the aorta.
