Vermont rates for HCPCS 35587
Reroutes blood around a blocked artery in the lower leg using a vein left in its own position in the leg rather than taken out. The vein's one-way valves are cut so blood can flow the other way through it, and its ends are joined to the artery behind the knee and to a smaller artery in the calf. It is done through incisions along the leg.
