Vein Bypass From The Groin To A Lower Leg Artery

Delaware rates for HCPCS 35566

Reroutes blood around blocked arteries in the leg using a length of the patient's own vein, running from the artery in the groin down to one of the smaller arteries below the knee. It is used when disease extends far down the leg and the foot is short of blood. The vein is lifted out of its normal position and moved into place to serve as the new channel.
