Vein Bypass, Upper Arm To Forearm Artery

Utah rates for HCPCS 35523

Restores blood flow to the forearm and hand by rerouting blood around a blocked or damaged artery. A length of the patient's own vein is taken and connected from the main artery in the upper arm to an artery in the forearm, so blood can bypass the diseased segment. It is done through open incisions in the arm.
