Vein Bypass From A Neck Artery To An Arm Artery

Mississippi rates for HCPCS 35510

A length of the patient's own vein is used to carry blood from the large artery in the neck to the main artery of the upper arm, going around a blocked or narrowed stretch in between. Blood then reaches the arm and hand again by the new route. A vein taken from the patient generally stays open longer than a man-made tube and copes better with infection.
