Clearing Out The Blocked Artery Behind The Knee

Vermont rates for HCPCS 35303

Opens the popliteal artery, the vessel running behind the knee, and strips the fatty, hardened plaque out of its inner lining so blood flows freely again, usually closing the vessel with a patch to keep it wide. It treats calf pain on walking, pain at rest, or wounds on the foot caused by poor circulation. Restoring flow here protects the whole lower leg and foot.
