Repair of an Abnormal Artery-Vein Link in a Limb

Vermont rates for HCPCS 35190

Repairs an abnormal direct connection between an artery and a vein in an arm or a leg that has developed after an injury or a medical procedure. Blood short-circuits straight from the high-pressure artery into the vein instead of feeding the tissues, which can swell the limb and strain the heart. The connection is closed and normal flow through both vessels is restored.
