Open Repair Of An Aneurysm In A Neck Artery

Vermont rates for HCPCS 35001

Repairs a bulging, weakened section of a large artery at the base of the neck, either the carotid or the subclavian, through an incision in the neck. The weakened stretch is cut out or reinforced so that blood again flows through a sound channel toward the brain and arm. It also covers cases where the same vessel is narrowed by hardening of the arteries at the same time.
