Aortic Aneurysm Repair With A One-Piece Y Graft

Minnesota rates for HCPCS 34804

Repair of a bulge, or aneurysm, in the main artery of the abdomen carried out from inside the vessel rather than by opening the abdomen. Working through openings at the groin, the surgeon guides in a single-piece branched graft shaped like an upside-down Y, so blood travels from the main artery into both of the vessels heading toward the legs inside the graft instead of pressing on the weakened wall.
