Stent Graft Repair of a Pelvic Artery
Vermont rates for HCPCS 34718
A fabric-covered stent graft is guided through the blood vessels and opened inside a widened artery in the pelvis, lining the weakened section so blood flows through the graft instead of pressing on the vessel wall. It treats one side and is done on its own rather than at the same sitting as a graft in the main abdominal artery. The imaging, measuring and device sizing needed to place it are part of the procedure.
