Branched Stent Graft For A Pelvic Artery

Vermont rates for HCPCS 34717

Placement of a branched fabric-covered graft inside a large pelvic artery, threaded into position through thin tubes from the groin during a stent-graft repair of the aorta. The side branch keeps blood flowing into the smaller internal pelvic artery while the main channel carries flow on down toward the leg. It treats one side and is billed in addition to the main aortic repair.
