Extra Stent Graft Extension, Each Vessel

Colorado rates for HCPCS 34709

Adds an extension piece to an aortic or pelvic stent graft so the repair reaches further along the blood vessel, either higher up toward the kidney arteries or further down past the pelvic artery. The extension is delivered from inside the vessel through the same access used for the main repair and locks into the graft already in place. It is billed in addition to the main repair, for each further vessel treated.
