Cross-Over Vein Graft For A Blocked Leg Vein

Washington, DC rates for HCPCS 34520

Uses a length of the patient's own vein to build a new route for blood to leave a leg when a deep vein in the pelvis or groin is blocked. The graft is tunneled across to the healthy opposite side, which then carries the blood back toward the heart. It is done to relieve the severe swelling, heaviness and skin damage caused by long-standing venous obstruction.
