Heart Bypass Using One Artery Graft

Vermont rates for HCPCS 33533

Bypass surgery in which an artery is rerouted to carry blood past a blockage in one of the heart's own arteries, restoring supply to the muscle beyond it. Artery grafts stay open far longer than vein grafts, so they are used for the most important vessel. This version covers a single artery graft.
