Graft Repair of a Misplaced Coronary Artery

Delaware rates for HCPCS 33504

Open-heart surgery to correct a coronary artery that comes off the wrong vessel, leaving part of the heart muscle supplied with blood carrying too little oxygen. The surgeon uses a graft to restore a normal, oxygen-rich supply to that part of the muscle. Left uncorrected the muscle can be permanently damaged, so the repair is usually done in infancy or early childhood.
