Single Lung Transplant With Heart-Lung Bypass

Replaces one diseased lung with a donor lung. A heart-lung machine takes over circulating and adding oxygen to the blood while the new lung is stitched into place. It is used for advanced lung disease when medicines and other treatments can no longer keep breathing adequate.
