Keyhole Peeling of a Rind From the Lung

Through small cuts between the ribs, with a camera to see inside the chest, the thick rind of scar and infected material that has formed over the surface of the lung is peeled away. Freeing the lung from that peel lets it expand again and lets the space around it drain properly. It is used for infection in the space around the lung that has not cleared with drainage alone.
