This is an endoscopic procedure that widens the drainage opening of the sphenoid sinus, one of the sinus cavities located behind and above the nasal passages, using a small balloon rather than cutting away tissue. A thin scope with a camera guides the balloon into place through the nostril. It's used to relieve chronic sinus blockage and improve drainage.
