Endoscopic Opening Of A Blocked Tear Duct

Vermont rates for HCPCS 31239

Using a small scope inside the nose, the surgeon makes a new drainage channel between the tear sac beside the nose and the nasal cavity, bypassing a blocked tear duct. Tears then drain into the nose instead of spilling onto the cheek. Because all the work is done inside the nose, there is no scar on the face.
