Vermont rates for HCPCS 30140

A surgeon reduces or removes part or all of the turbinate, a ridge of tissue inside the nose that helps warm and humidify air, when it has become enlarged and is blocking airflow. This can be done using a variety of surgical techniques and is aimed at improving nasal breathing. It addresses tissue underneath the nasal lining rather than just the surface.
