Hip Arthroscopy With Labral Repair

Vermont rates for HCPCS 29916

Keyhole surgery of the hip in which the labrum, the ring of cartilage sealing the rim of the hip socket, is stitched back down to the bone using small anchors. A torn labrum causes groin pain, catching and clicking, and repairing it restores the seal that keeps the joint stable and lubricated. A camera and instruments pass through small punctures while the joint is gently held open.
