Hip Arthroscopy to Reshape the Socket Rim

Vermont rates for HCPCS 29915

A camera and small instruments are placed into the hip joint through a few small punctures, and the over-hanging rim of the hip socket is trimmed back so it no longer pinches against the thigh bone when the hip bends. It is done for hip impingement causing groin pain and catching in younger, active patients. No large incision is made.
