Open Repair of a Dislocated Toe Joint

Vermont rates for HCPCS 28675

Opens a dislocated joint within a toe through an incision, puts the bones back into position under direct view, and holds them there with a pin, wire, or screw. It is used when the joint cannot be pushed back into place from outside, or when it will not stay put once it has been reduced. The hardware keeps the joint aligned while the surrounding tissue heals.
