Joining Two Toes Together Surgically

Vermont rates for HCPCS 28280

Deliberately joins two neighbouring toes along their touching surfaces, so the stronger toe holds the weaker or unstable one in line. The facing skin is prepared and the toes are stitched together to heal as a pair sharing a web. It is used for a floppy, drifting, or deformed toe that will not stay straight on its own.
