Lower Leg Bone Fracture Treatment Without Surgery

Rhode Island rates for HCPCS 27780

This treats a fracture of the fibula, the thinner of the two bones in the lower leg, near the knee or along its shaft, using a cast or splint rather than surgery. It applies when the bone fragments are already positioned well enough that they don't need to be manually realigned. Follow-up imaging is used to confirm the bone is healing properly.
