Detaches a further tendon in the lower leg and reattaches it at a new point so it pulls the foot or ankle in a more useful direction. Rerouting the pull can correct a foot that drops, turns in, or cannot be lifted because of nerve damage or muscle imbalance. It is billed in addition to the main procedure when more than one tendon is moved.
