Delayed Repair of a Torn Thigh Muscle With Graft

Washington, DC rates for HCPCS 27386

Repairs a torn quadriceps muscle at the front of the thigh or a torn hamstring at the back, done later rather than immediately after the injury. Because the torn ends have pulled apart and scarred by then, a strip of tendon or tough connective tissue is used to bridge the gap and restore the pull of the muscle.
