Repair of a Torn Thigh Muscle

Connecticut rates for HCPCS 27385

Surgery to sew back together a torn muscle at the front of the thigh or in the hamstrings at the back. Through an incision the torn ends are brought together and stitched, sometimes anchored to nearby tissue, so the muscle heals at its proper length. This is a first-time repair of the injury itself rather than a later reconstruction of an old tear.
