Cutting A Tight Leg Tendon Through The Skin

Vermont rates for HCPCS 27306

Divides a tight tendon in the upper leg, either an inner-thigh tendon or one of the hamstrings, through a small puncture rather than an open incision. Releasing the tendon lets the leg straighten or spread further when the muscle has been holding the joint in a fixed position. This version treats a single tendon.
