Resetting a Broken Upper Thigh Bone Without Surgery

Realigns a break in the upper end of the thigh bone, in the broad region just below the ball of the hip, by manipulating the leg from outside rather than opening the bone. Traction may be used to pull the pieces into line and hold them while the bone heals. No incision is made and no plate, screw, or rod is inserted.
